The Civil Non-Profit Company IASIS NGO was founded in 2005. From 2005 until today we empowering humanity. The main objectives of the organization are to provide psychosocial support, to combat the social exclusion of vulnerable groups of the population, to provide psychological and counseling services, to create equal opportunities and new perspectives for vulnerable groups of the population, to promote mental health, to provide psychiatric care in the Community based on the principles of Social Psychiatry and Psychosocial Rehabilitation, provision of specialized psychiatric services and psychoeducational interventions to the standards of Psychiatric Reform and the World Health Organization. HIGGS is a non-profit organization which aims to reinforce CSOs in Greece through educational and supportive programs. It offers capacity building support to small and medium CSOs mainly through training and educational initiatives. Currently it operates three capacity-building programs, the Accelerator, the Incubator and the Recharge designed for the Greek CSO ecosystem assisting them in their growth and development. The “Accelerator” is a specifically designed for small and medium size NPOs operating in Greece for more than 2 years and it offers a robust training and consultancy supportive framework. The “Incubator” is a training and advisory program, aiming to build capacity and cover the educational needs of non-profits in Greece that: are in the process of being established and/or operating, with no legal status, have acquired legal status within the past 2 years and have commenced operations, aim to reboot the organization, even if they have been operating for more than the past 2 years. The “Recharge” is a Service Line that addresses to Nonprofit Organizations which have been operating for at least 5 years and are facing a vital need to adjust rapidly and effectively a constantly changing environment. In addition to the aforementioned capacity-building programs, HIGGS provides external evaluation services. Specifically, members of the HIGGS Team have significant experience in both internal and external evaluation having participated in evaluations of projects related to Erasmus+, Youth in Action, EuropeAid, Partnership Agreement (2007 – 2013 and 2014 – 2020), General Secretariat for Research and Technology, We are all Citizens-EEA Grants, Athens Municipality and European Integration Fund. HIGGS further focuses on the enhancement of knowledge in the Greek CSO sector by taking part in research, establishing a knowledge repository on civil society and disseminating best practices. In this framework, HIGGS operates as “hub” among the CSOs. Since its operation HIGGS has supported 157 non-profits from all over Greece that have secured over 10.000.000€ in funding and have created more than 771 new job positions.
